November 30 - a day of dreaming and singing!

Award-winning author/illustrator Shane Evans visited AD on November 30.  He shared information about his
books, showed us a video version of his new book Chocolate Me and helped us mix our own version of a
song based on his book Olu's Dream.  Several students and Mrs. Wise also showed us their dance "moves" with
the music.

Celebrate your child's birthday by participating in our Birthday Book Program.
Parents can choose from a list of library-bound books to honor their child.
Birthday books will include a special stamp inside with information about the child and their special day.
Books are $15.00.  Students participating in the program will be a part of a special celebration in May!
